Okay due to some trading and what not, I have managed to get a hold of four High Elves sets from the Island of Blood. However as cool as that may sound, what the heck do I do with all of these griffons?! Is making them into a counts as great eagle about the only choice?

You could send me one! Along with any swordmasters you don't want. 40 seems excessive.

The griffons are excellent trade bait - great model that you can't get anywhere else.

I did condense my two IoB seaguard units into one larger unit with some very simple conversions. The leftover standard-on-a-spear looks awesome as a reaver standard (just some minor cutting and fiddly pinning turned the second reaver champion into a standard bearer).

I just buried my extraneous SM champion somewhere in the middle ranks and didn't even bother with the conversions.

I could do with one to convert as empire griffon.

Shame about being on the wrong side of the pond

Hmm...I didn't realize that you couldn't do much with them. At least I got a good deal for all of them. I guess feebay it will be. Once I put one together, I might see how difficult it will be to make it riderless and more eagle like just in case.
