I recently got Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising, and despite negative reviews from fans on Dawn of War II altogether, it looks great to me... although that may just be because now I can play the Nids without modding...

I had never really heard any complaints/reviews about CR from people who already liked DoW2.

CR has a great campaign, going full corruption is so imba.

CR was great! Campaign is better than retri and more choices than the orginal DOW2.

Nor have I. The only complaints I've heard from people regarding Chaos Rising were about Games for Windows Live.

Yea, but its all good because now GFWL is gone and we have steamworks in Retribution

As it states plainly he is referring to the hate on DoW II in general, not CR, of which there was quite a bit.

And now ther is retribution yay!!

To me, Chaos Rising just seemed like a good value, I mean, new units for every army (Yay Genestealers!), good replay value (Like the first one), Chaos thrown in the mix, and at only $16? You can see why we bought this.
