Long time ago, I began a terrain, which was made with a mix of sand, leaves, brunches and paint with 2 colors, brown and violet.
It was inspired in BloodBowl, and after made and paint it... I think you can smell the grass and the mud!
TERRAIN
MINIATURES
I use two diferent miniatures for this scene. First of all, the scene will show you the "fight" between a dwarf and a orc.
For the dwarf player, I use Gotrek Gurnisson (
GW), a collector's miniature, converted into a dwarf BB player.
Long time ago I painted it, and I decided to unpaint it. That's why I cut the runic axe from his right hand and modelled two braids in his beard.
For the orc, I use another miniature, which was sculpted by Franarcilla, a friend of mine, who decides to give me this new figure as a present. Ah! It's modelled in 28
mm, perfect for my idea!
I decided to converted the orc, because I want to make it more dinamyc. That's why I open his right arm to represent a catcher, like you can see in a rugby player.
I made with a Coke tin the helmet belts, to get a realistic scene.
I'm painting it now, because the skin, leather and metals aren't finished yet. Only the armour is finish, with its scratches and rusty effects.
FINAL RESULT
And after almost a year, the scene was finished yesterday. The only thing that needed to finish, was paint the orc...
so I finished to paint the skin and details, like several blood splashes, which is so characteristic of this wild game.
Therefore, I present the vignette which I titled "Touchdown!", because the dwarf player gets a goal against the mass of muscles which is the orc.
I hope you like it!!
Be happy!
