Hey folks,
If you're wanting to bulk up your units or score some money off tanks, Thursday night hobbycraft is having a 20% off night, plus their magazine has 2 £5 off vouchers. Not too shabby. I know hobbycraft's a bit hellish, but still, needs must as the devil drives, etc.

That online, or in-store only?

I have looked it up and some people are saying you need a voucher, but I can't seem to findwhere to get one for anywhere but Glasgow. Any idea if you do, or if this is just advertising some of the stores are running?

BTW, from what I can tell it is in store only. Probably one last push for sales before year end, which won't work online.

I just got a thing in my inbox saying 20% off night, share with your friends and family - sounds like dakka to me. Mind you, I am in Glasgow, so maybe it's just a local thing. Anyway, the 2x £5 off voucher is in the magazine, so that's worth getting hold off (£2 or free if you spend over 25). Wife always needs cake supplies, but I think I hear another ls storm calling...

Huh, that's kind of cool you all get GW in your big hobby retailer. The two big ones here don't stock any type of gaming hobby stuff, and even the terrain making supplies are getting scarce. About all I'm able to pick up with my weekly coupons are brushes, exacto knives, and the like. Would be nice if they stocked GW Models too...

Tbh I'm going to probably use it to stock up on gf9 gs. Surprisifnly good range. Slight flgs guilt, but I work 2 mins from hobbycraft and it's too convenient.

I'd go if they hadn't looked like i'd just shot a puppy last time I asked them if they stock plasticard.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Check the railway modelling section. They don't know their own stock. Not surprising, kids working there are clueless.

Or like them on Facebook.

I have never been able to work out why the don't sell plasticard though, not that I would get it from them anyway (i'd rather go to my local hobby shop. Same prices but the guy who runs it dose more than drool when you ask him a question)
