Hey all,

The title says it all - what is the point of giving you fighters two pistols? I just skimmed through the rules to try and find something about it, but, as far as I can tell, the only point of having another one is just in case one runs out. Is this correct?

Thanks,

Doop.

Nope, there's a skill that let's you fire two pistols, and if you give them 2 of the same pistol and get rapid fire to, you can throw out 4 shots!!

Which is why the rewritten skills in the Community Edition of Necromunda are far more balanced

Other reasons include potential for 2 S4+ weapons in HTH as well as shooting, redundancy as you mentioned, wysiwyg for models and coolness factor!

At one point before they FAQ'd it (years ago!) it was possible to have a character with 2 bolt pistols kicking out 12 shots with the right combo of skills!!... Back in the day of the beard! Lol

Community necromunda?? I never knew such a site existed! I've played for years, still play the on fire rules and play from the old books and battles in the underhive!... A bit archaic! Where would I find this site ?? :-)

Cheers!

Liam

I have NCE, is there anything that different in it?

Is there a thread (on here or Yakromunda) that outlines the main differences between NCE and N:UH?

I believe someone on Yakromunda was going to write an article on the differences between the versions but hasn't got around to it.

You can see the differences very easily as the CE version has all the changes in red text. Some of the changes are complete re-writes of skills or rules. Some of the changes are slightly wording or additions to make a rule less abusable and generally function better in-game. There's also the refining of the House equipment lists that make more sense and flesh them out more as well as general equipment cost changes and new equipment. There's quite a lot overall.
