Here in the last few weeks I've also been wanting to take pictures of my units so I can start posting them; but I can never seem to get good photo's either I can get enough light in the photo so you can't even see the model. Do yall have any ideas of what I can do to so I can start getting clear pictures so I can start posting?

hmm, either find a better light source, take them in direct sunlight (although most of the detail work will be lost), or build yourself a light box (or manufacture a makeshift one). Best of luck on your photography!

I put them in a shoe box that's white on the inside.
I have the top cut out to let light in.
I stand a desk lamp just out of the camera frame.
I use Macro mode on the camera.
