I'm converting some seeker mounts to Fiends and need some arms to add on.
Does anyone have any idea what models might have arms that are a close approximation to the Fiends claw arms?

What about the daemonette's arms? they're pretty big for infantry-sized models.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

There could be some goodies in the chaos spawn kit. Lots of horns and spikes, and I think even a claw or two.

The Daemonette arms are what I'm going to use if I can't find anything else.
They are really short though.
I was half thinking I'd use boyz arms, cut them off at the wrist and attach the Daemonette claws to the end.
If I can get whole ares though, I'd do that instead.

I'll look in to those spawn arms now!

How large are the spawn in comparison to a Marine?
If the arms are about marine sized, then they are probably a bit too small.
Are the spawn larger than marines?

Spawn are larger than a terminator but smaller than a dreadnought.

Smaller tyranid arms fit perfect.
Just a case of using a set of gaunt arms with the large claws from the seeker kit on the end.

Also, if you want them to look more like fiends, i would combine kits.
Granted you only get 2.5 fiends per seeker box, but they look alot better with 4 legs.

So the basic seeker box Gives you enough large claws to make 3 fiends.
Use 2 sets of legs on each seeker to make it a quadruped.

2 Seeker kits give you 5 fiends that look pretty damn good.
Requires a little GS work to cover joins, but thats about it really.

Thanks Jim!

And to Jackal, yes, I already have the extra legs off Ebay for that exact purpose! How ever, I've not yet commited to it, because the knee is looking a bit wonky.

I'll post some shots when I get it worked out.

How big are those Gaut arms?

Chaos Spawn kit. Best 30 bucks a converter can spend. I bought a box last year for bitz and still haven't used it all up.
