Hey folks,

Since TempleCon 2011, we've seen a major spike in 40k gaming attendance at The Temple Games in Pawtucket, RI. While Warmachine/Hordes has been the big game here since we opened in July, I figured it was time to get a little more active on Dakka since we're going to start holding monthly 40k tournaments and events in April due to the significant recent influx of new 40k players. I'd also like to personally meet some more of the local playerbase, and possibly shoot at them repeatedly with my Krieg.

We also have a surprisingly active Battlefleet Gothic campaign league which meets on Saturdays, which is one of the two big minis gaming days/nights at the shop, the other being Wednesday. We have a ton of incredible and diverse terrain to crack some skulls on, and any day of the week you'll probably have no problem finding a game in the shop with one of the regulars.

Anyway, stop on down and get a game in. We've gone to great lengths to make the little shop more of a lounge than your average gaming store, and since we opened last summer we've been really happy with the awesome community of gamers that has formed around it. Hit the website at http://www.thetemplegames.com or our extremely active Facebook community at http://www.facebook.com/TheTempleGames

Had a couple of huge games this weekend. Few pictures of the action from the perspective of my Krieg.

I went to the site, and the store and the terrain look great! Maybe I can get down there for an event someday. It's a bit over two hours' drive, which I usually only do for Templecon or another big weekend-long event, but I might be able to get some friends together at some point.

I'm getting red Xs of doom on the photos in this thread. You can upload them directly to the Dakka Gallery, if you like, since they're wargaming related, and you won't have that problem.

Images fixed!

Great to hear that you make it down for TempleCon. I can tell you with certainty that we're going to be dialing everything up a quite a few notches in terms of space in 2012, especially for 40k and Fantasy.

Sexcellent!

The pics in the thread look sweet, too.
