Once again it seems the the vision of the greatest Duke Nukem game ever to hit a console has been placed on the back burner. The developers of the game 3D realms for the last few years despite recent success and hype for their new games has taken a lot of hits due to drop in economy and its own business. The company is still far enough away from completing its masterpiece the Duke Nukem Forever that they simply cannot release the game until the final stages of polishing it is finished.

As of now the game as been quoted to be "buggy and unfit to release to console" While 3D realms is in danger of closing its doors they are doing everything they can to stay open. In order to prevent this from happening it may be possible for 3D realms to sell their company or enter a business partnership with a more financially secure company in order to stay afloat long enough to finish the game they believe will save them.

Things look bleak for 3D realms but if they are able to stay afloat until July. Eidos has shown interest in purchasing 3D realms, Legal name"Apogee Software, Ltd". If this happens or if 3D realms is able to obtain more financial backing we may be able to see Duke Nukem forever by January 2012.

This just pisses me off. I mean it gets pushed back and it gets cancelled....FREAKEN AGAIN!
