Just wondering, do the weapons need converting when making a true scale space marine? I mean if you make the model larger, won't the weapon look smaller in comparison? Thanks in advance!

This would be a difficult task. Most weapons are slightly larger than they would be IRL, so maybe it is not needed. However it is entirely your choice.
There is no point in making the weapons bigger and no one does it. Space Marine weapons are already pretty big and look fine on most true/art scale methods. The only weapons you need to worry about are shoulder mounted ones.
