Combat Jumping Ragik

Hello people,
I played MkI and didn't really like it (I will not explain, don't want to start a Holy War) but a bunch of people are starting to play MkII and heard the rules work much better.
That said I am unsure of which faction(s) to play. I am probably just going to proxy some stuff and play some practice games to see how I like MkII.
I am looking for insight as to how the armies below play I have heard that skorne & Khador play like juggernaughts, slow but heavy on the offense & defense. Where Circle ouroboros play like hunters, fast & precise but now so much on the direct offensive power (They set traps of sorts?) or defense. While retribution of Scyrah tend to be a very synergetic army (Eldar?) where everything needs to work together well and if it does you're great, if not you're doomed.
Also what are the missions like now? Is it mostly kill thy enemy (Warhammer) or mostly specific missions (Malifaux)?
So the contenders are:
Warmachine
Khador
Retribution of Scyrah
Hordes
Skorne
Circle Ouroboros
tl;dr Looking for review of Mk II, the missions & these armies not recommendations.

You can go to the PP website and download the missions for free (under steamroller rules IIRC). This way you can judge for yourself what the missions are all about.

Primary condition is still assassination, but in tournament and
league play there are scenarios in place to prevent ties and
encourage aggressive play.

You may want to check out some of Malfred's wonderful Faction articles stickied above. Or you could just look through all the other "I'm thinking of starting ..." threads.

Depending on the caster you select the playstyle of the army changes a lot, especially Khador can go for several different style armies as it has most of figs available of the 4 factions you listed. I would check the figs of the casters and narrow it down from there. When you have a specific caster(s) selected we can answer your questions better.

Khador and Skorne to me feels like a bunch of spees mahreens
Tough, abit slow (with ways of speeding them up), hit like tons and tons of brick ,not too dependent too on focus mechanic
