Subject: Question on lack of IC rule in Grey Knights
So in looking at the new codex I noticed there is not one single Independent Character in the whole army. So am I to understand all the Grand Masters, Brother Captains and Librarians fight alone? They all have the same wording "Infantry (Character)". I also noticed that the assassins have the same wording listed under them. So I gather from this one of two things, either a) No character can join a unit or b) it is a new wording for the IC rule and even assassins can join units. I am kinda confused to say the least.

Aye, the Independent Characters in the codex are Draigo, Stern, Grand Masters, Brother-Captains, Brotherhood Champions, Librarians, all forms of Inquisitor and Techmarines.
