Can you take Cover Saves if you are in Area Terrain, or under the effects of a Cover Save generating model such as a Big Mek with Kustom Force Field or a Venomthrope, when suffering hits from a Vehicle Explosion? This question is directed toward units outside of a vehicle suffering S3 AP- hits, not any units that may or may not be embarked in the exploding vehicle.

The only thing that prevents a cover save is a close combat attack.

Edit: Or a template weapon.

Plus any weapons ignoring cover saves.
