Hi I'm thinking of starting of the Ultramarines 1st Company and i want the command squad to stand out so i want to make them terminators but there are no rules for a terminator command squad. How would you guys solve this problem? Thanks for any help.

You might be better off just using counts-as Dark Angels. They can take Terminators as troops and take Command squads with FnP.

Back in the old days, there was a terminator command squad. It was exactly like the regular terminator squad except it had the command squad special rules iirc (this was back when a SM HQ stop being an IC for their command)

I would say, take a normal terminator squad and figure out the points for certain upgrades (apothecary, standard bearer, champion, etc)

Or just use the Terminator command squad rules from the DA codex but with the vanilla 'dex.

Or you could do that. Either way accomplishes the same goal.

I don't have the DA codex though.

It is a quandry. I can only assume it's because the C: SM book was done with the intent of being different from the DA book, and then we suddenly had Loganwing in the mix a few years later.
