Hello all, I have decided to make a 2nd 2,000 point Ork army. I want this one to be themed around Badmoons, fluff based too. I was thinking a lot of lootas and flash gitz. Mega armored warboss named Nazdreg, with like 9 mega armored nobz! All in a bright yellow battlewagon. But I kinda want this to be a competitive list also. Any thoughts would be awesome thanks!!!

Flash Gitz aren't worth their points cost for what they do. Lootas, however, make for great anti transport/ high-toughness support fire. Meganobz are lots of fun, they do better if split into groups of 3. The thing about battlewagon lists: you need a few of them to be effective, otherwise the one or two wagons get shot to piss n your meganobs are stuck slowly marching up the board. Look up a battlewagon spam list if you want to go that route. I hope I've been helpful.

So you think a Badmoon list should be a battlewagon spam list? I like the flash gitz for their fluff in badmoons with the named character leading them! Even though flash gitz seem to be nobz with beast guns right? 2 wounds and all.

Yes, to me Fluffwise it seems to me that a badmoon wagonspam would make sense, those wagons cost lots of teef! The Gitz aren't worth the cost, you won't see them in any competitive list, same story with Badrukk. By all means, model (I would suggest nobs with tricked out kombi-weapons to rep the Gitz) and play the list you want. I hope you prove me wrong.

I'd agree that flash gitz aren't competative btu i still field em... hell my whole army theme is kaptin badrukk's boyz with a pirate theme so sometimes he has to make an appearance.

to be effective i tend to make them shootier and more dakka on all takign the kaptin always and always one pain boy as ell as cybork bodies also i always put em in the middle of the board and shoot away knowing up close they can be very potent as well shoudl the opponent be foolish enough to charge em

its alot of points but they can be absolutely brutal (also measuring your shots beforedeclaring your target and checkign your options taking them will piss your oppenent off alot which in my book is always funny)

... that said i love that meganob list... that'd be brutal against most foes... but nids or demons might give you problems

Tell me how it works out for you! You could fill out the rest of your elites with lootas if you want to take out transports at range.
