hello guys,

i use the new grey knight models to form a sorcerercouncil leaded by ahriman.
two trops in power armour
one troop termies
Ahzek Ahriman
its for GW's Armies on parade competition
the plan and pictures will follow tomorrow.
my question is: i think footprints in the sand will be awesome, but could someone give me an advice how to model them?
thank you for help

What do you intend to use for the direct base? I mean what with the minis actuually be stuck to? Wood, clay or styrofoam. What you could do hollow out a small gap where you want the footprint to be, and find a textured boot, can't think of one off the top of my head though, and press the boot into the GS, rinse and repeat for the whole thing.

greenstuff.

press a foot in to get the print. to mount it on the board I suggest you do it before you apply any scatter, and try to get an even finish. Lay off putting sand onto the greenstuff and paint it as normal.

I really can't think of anything else that isn't:

A - too subtle
B - going to drive you insane.

Assault marines have textured feet.

gaps for the minis to be even with the ground
