didn't know whereelse to put this. Now fluffwise i haven't read anything about GK using scouts, but with some of their special rules, could it better the GK if Scouts were used?

Dont blast me for posting this, just a simple question.

“Brothers, what we do on the battlefield is not just for our chapter but, for the entire Imperium. Every Xenos that falls by our hands will be a testament to our unwavering duty to the Emperor. Every heretic that is crushed under our feet will be a testament to our undying loyalty to the citizens of Imperial Space. We will baptize ourselves in fire and emerge as the most steadfast defenders of humanity.” - qoute from my own homegrown chapter

No scouts would get eaten by deamons. No need to feed them before the battle haha

Dangit your right. But if the deamons eat enough wouldnt they get put in a food coma, therefore allowing the GK to steal the victory?

GKs don't use scouts, their recruits are thrown into Aegis armor (Power varient) straight out of training. Terminators are more GKs mainstay however... That is, until Ward got ahold of the 'dex.

Other Dreadnaughts should just go somewhere and be a toaster.

Mattieu~~~~ It's not that eldar are bad, it's that they require a lot of intergration between units. Also, that doesnt prove anything other than GW has a huge hard-on for marines, and, given the option between making a xeno the best psykers or making a marine the best psyker, they will 9 times out of 10 choose the marine.

Because he made the Grey Knights kill Sisters of Battle and then had them bathe their weapons and armor in their blood, to make them pure. Even though their armor already makes them pure, he also made it so that the Necrons and Blood Ravens teamed up to fight nids.

The internet hates matt ward.

Something about everybody wishes they were Ultra Marines, the perceived power creep in his books (and half the people cite books he didn't even write... but whatever), and his murdering of the fluff with over the top juvenile fantasy. Like Marnius Calgar Punching an Avatar of Khaine to death. I think he is even responsible for the BA and necron team up.

Oh, how about Draigo (aka Samurai Jack) beats the crap out of a Deamon Primarch (Mortarian for those keeping score) then gets cursed to wander the warp kicking daemons in their home turf (including destroying each Chaos Gods home). Yeah, I like the Samurai Jack referance, but good god he went over the top. That isn't even mentioning the GKs smearing blood from Sisters of Battle that THEY KILLED to stop the bloodtide. Whatever happened to being so pure that chaos can't stand them? They go for a Khorne themed GK event?

Me personally? I like his books for the rules, but the fluff is OTT even for 40k in places, and some revises for no good reason existing fluff.

Mortarion was a putz, even before his ascension to Daemonhood.

And for the record, since nobody actually has quoted that particular piece right as of yet:
Draigo doesn't "beat the crap out of a Daemon Primarch".

He and his squad, who died during the fighting no less, and a Grey Knights Grandmaster banished Mortarion back to the Warp.

All Draigo did was after the banishment, removed Mortarion's heart from the vessel he'd possessed and carved the name of the slain Grandmaster in it.

That's nowhere near as over the top as people make it out to be.

He wasn't even employed by GW when that change took place.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.

I agree that him beating Mortarion is totally a not big deal, but I would expect a banishment to result in Mortarion's physical form exploding/being sucked back into the warp, not sitting around so Draigo can do arts and crafts with it.

I think it depends on if Mortarion possessed a host or actually had gone forth himself, in the flesh he's had since the end of the Horus Heresy.

And it might just be that since he's a Daemon now, his form becomes ectoplasm after a bit of time and Draigo did his insult before it had that time to disintegrate. Or the planet may have been heavily corrupted by Daemonic energies, which would end up with the body taking longer to disintegrate, any number of supposed variables.

Well this is much better... I admit I didn't dare read the piece myself. But if it's just that then it's.. Meh, but not that bad. I was honestly thinking something along the lines of indiana jones and the cursed temple, where there's the guy that grabs still beating hearts out of the chest of people...

Yeah, I was imagining draigo doing that to mortarion. Now, it's totally badass, but it'd basically mean that draigo could punch Khorne in the teeth and break them lol

Well considering Mortarion is the Daemon Primarch of the Death Guard and was pretty far down the list of "badasses" before his ascension...

It's really nothing like that
