I've been searching around and can't really find any close up pics of the hierodule brothers, so I'm just asking an open question to everyone here:
Whose Cooler ?
Yeh, seriously. The Barbed looks interesting but the scythed has a more unique pose. Their faces are also different, right?
PS: Their tails remind me of capillary towers.

The Scythed Heirodule doesn't have much of an advantage, gameplay wise. It's got an extra set of scthing talons, giving it +1 attack, and an anti-infantry template weapon.

The Barbed Hierodule has 1 less attack and loses the anti infantry weapon, but basically gains a 12 shot railgun that can fire at two different units. It's by far the better unit.

That said, the Schythed Hierodules model is far superior due to the better pose. It actually looks like it's going to rip something apart. The Barbed hierodule just looks bored, sitting back firing its guns. Which is what it will end up doing.

These threads always make me want to pull my finger out and built my Hierophant.

Built my Hierophant? Do you mean, Build?
Anyways, I guess your right, the scythed looks bad ass.
Real quick, does the scythed hierodule come with a partly broken scythe? In the picture, it's sticking one of it's scythes into the ground, so...

I've seen Schyted Hierodules built without the talon stuck in the ground, so either it's supplied intact and most people follow FW's posing by clipping it like they did, or those people were good with green stuff and rebuilt the talon.
