just a fun list that i am thinking of running in a tourney in the near future:

Commissar Yarrick 185 pts

Ogryn Squad: +2 ogryns 210 pts
chimera: w/ dozer blade, multi laser, hull flamer 65 pts

Ratlings: +2 ratlings 50 pts

Veteran squad 1: plasma pistol, plasma gun x3, carapace armour: 155 pts
chimera: multi laser, hull flamer 55 pts

Veteran Squad 2: meltagun x3, shotguns 100 pts
chimera: multi laser, hull flamer

Penial legion squad: 80 pts

LRBT: w/ lascannon 165 pts

LR exterminator: hvy bolter sponsons, hvy bolter 170 pts

LR demolisher: dozer blade, multi melta sponsons 205 pts

1495 pts.


basicly ogryns and yarrick ride together and look for something to get into, thus the dozer blade on the chimera.
the vets are there to get objectives and take on some stuff with there weapon outfit.
penial legion squad is there to have a third troop choice and throw in some randomness into the mix. (so far they have been fun when used in other point lists)
all the leman russes are there to destroy some stuff and be targets instead of the troops and chimeras.

Have been thinking of this option though.

take out the demolisher:

put in a lord commissar w/ power fist 85 pts.
chimera: multi laser, hull flamer 55 pts.

140 pts. takes the list to 1435 pts. with the extra 65 put in Marbo.

I'd drop the carapace on the vets and downgrade yarrick to a lord commissar.

Dozer blades etc can also go.

I would like to get another vet squad in a chimera if possible. So, maybe drop an ogryn to pay for it?

I wouldn’t expect yarrick and the ogryns to do much in CC,

you would be surprised at how 5 ogryns and yarrick do in CC.

they have taken out alot, lately a librarian, cpt, and squad all on bikes.
