So, this is what i have for my 1750 list. What can be done to improve it? I was already thinking about taking the Deffkoptas out, and replacing them with 4 warbuggies with Rokkits.

warbuggies are more durable and can actually be mixed in for more coverage in a kan wall (i prefer the tectics of koptas myself swoop in kill somehtign and eat some fire the next turn)

I have heard this more than I agree with it and the reason is simple:
Why wouldn't you have 2 PK's in 2 of your units of boyz? You've stacked 32 (33)? wounds into a unit with two PK's. I know the point cost... another kan, 8 and a third boyz, 3 n a third lootaz... you get the point. What else would those points better be spent on?
I've asked people before why they think Meks' PK's are not worth the cost, I've never gotten a straight answer. Personal preference, I guess.
List looks good, as far as I can tell, very simple, very hard to stop.

if i have the opints i put PK's on Big MEK's in a kan wall list ... otherwise the mek is just a delivery system... basically a 95 point slow trukk... attach them to boys groups and like you said more pk hits before the boys get whittled through

I've also run a shooty list with 20 boys w/ shootas/ 2 big shootas, and a big mek with PK and SAG so if something got in close combat i'd have some power hits on it

The 'Eavy armor on the Nobs is pretty much a waste, the klaws on the - no wait, you've heard that one before.

Koptas are very useful against most armies. They are suicide units, but they are pretty reliable. Buggies are much cheaper, but it's the buzzsaw that gives utility to the kopta.

Drop the Meks' klaws and the Nobs Eavy Armor and one boy and you could have another buzzkopta or two rokkit buggies.

A Mek with a klaw can kill the odd grunt; anything worth killing will probably kill the Mek before he can scratch. Once the Mek is in CC, he's pretty much outlived his usefulness. I like mine in the back, too far away to make it into CC. That way he's got a chance to live to continue to provide KFF-goodness should the Nob and the boyz prevail. Obviously, he has to stay with the Kans at first, but once the krumpin' starts, he can drift back.

The list is fine as it is. The nit-picks here don't add up to much.

^ The best answer to my Mek PK question I have gotten. Makes sense, although I can see benefits from making the assaulting force target the Mek (not nearly as many though).

Is there a prize? No wait, that's just silly.

Some folks like burnas on their Meks too; this is a bit more versatile. My thinking is 50-points is already a chunk of change to throw on a weedy character, asking him to carry the freight in CC as well is a bit much.

Thanks for advice and suggestions.
PK on Big Meks, and Eavy armour on Nobs was purely to fill points, although could just find 5 points and have another Deffkopta.
