It's not the most dynamic pose in the world, but it's very three dimensional. Also, try putting a question mark at the end of your questions. It helps, honest engine!

It seems to suit his character of being able to control a Daemon blade. It's calm and calculating.

Static and awkward at the same time. Utterly boring with no sense of motion or power.

ie, it sucks.

Yeah, I really don't know what they were going for, here. It looks like he's hunched over, and making a concerted effort at something. That something, however, is not anything cool or useful like attacking.

Really, it looks like he's just standing there, dealing with constipation.

Very akward and static to me. Sadly uninteresting.

static, boring, 2 dimensional, unimaginative, bland and awkward...so in GW terms I suppose its a masterpiece since static boring poses are all they are capable of.

plus the daemon weapon is stupid.

Here's my problem. The single model is about $17 and looks exactly the same as a plastic PAGK in terms of pose and the such.

So for $17 I can get one static, metal model or for $33 I can get five plastic easily convertible ones...

Not sure why anyone who has the minimum brain power to play 40k would be stupid enough to not realize what kind of awful ripoff deal Crowe is.

Not defending Crowe or anything but the same could be said for almost any character model (bar a few special characters like Astorath or Changling). He does come with a Daemon Sword and cape.

I didn't think much of it till I actually read this thread and looked at it on the GW website. He sorta looks like a futuristic armored hooker showing his legs off.

My point exactly. While some character models are truly unique and actually look different from the grunt of the same type, most don't. The GK character models are a screaming example of this and GW totally failed in making them look unique or special in any way. Draigo could just be made using a plastic GK Terminator with a storm shield, and you could probably make a more dynamic pose with ease. Stern is in one of the worst poses they've ever put a marine in. So yeah the GK character models are fail.

Where Coteaz is a pretty unique model, I still won't spend $20 on a single "28mm" miniature. He's going to be a PAGK with a daemon hammer as a base and then gussied up from there.

In all fairness for Stern, he's old as dust and comes at a cost not too much higher than the old GKT metal blisters.

Wait a minute... up until the recent price hike. HOLY CRAP HE'S THIRTY FREAKING DOLLARS.

I like the model. In fact, I like the model so much it inspired me to consider starting a Purifier Grey Knight army.
