Example: Space Marine Chapter Master takes a Thunder Hammer to replace his Bolter, and another to replace his CCW. Vulkan is taken as the secondary HQ. Chapter Master is weilding two thunder hammers, much like he does in his codex picture. Does the Chapter Master re-roll two dice per assault, or just one?

Thunder Hammers are two-handed weapons and can not be used as pair. If you were using two single-handed master crafted weapons each one would allow one reroll.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

There is a picture of a mega-armored Nob with a boss pole in the ork codex, the may still not take them.
Fluff and pictures are not rules.

Thunderhammers are NOT 2-handed CCW, you just need a *pair* of TH to get the bonus attack
You still only get ONE reroll however, as the rules for wielding 2 weapons states on page 42 that you only ever *use* ONE of the weapons. AS such the other just provides the extra attack, and no special abilities.

Huh. So there's no actual point to it when it's cheaper just to take a MC weapon and a normal CCW.

Any CCW other than a second thunder hammer won't add an extra attack to a thunder hammer, as Nos stated

Only a second TH will get you that extra attack. Seriously, check out page 42, has all you need right there
