So the model themselves fit, if tightly in Sabol pluck and pick and BattleFoam has some great foam for it but how do people transport their bases? The damn thing is huge, I've been considering trying to magnatize the clear arm to the base so that it might be a bit easier but glued together they are a serious pain to pack.

I'm wondering if someone has come up with some good way to go about it?

As an Aircav IG player, I would like to declare a vested interest in this question. Very interested to see Dakka's resolutions to this problem.

For me, separate cardboard box. But this is an unsatisfactory short term ssolution.

I transport my two Valk/Vendettas in a 15qt Rubbermaid tub with custom foam cut outs for both the models and the bases. I could probably fit another two in there.

I just didn't glue it to the clear stand so I can take it off and carry separate....

I own one of these and the way I get the bases to fit in with the Valks is to pop the base in sideways along the rear of the cutout first, then what you do is place the Valk into the tray in such a way that the plastic stand fits under the boom fin, but on top of the hull of the model. It's not perfect, but it sure beats carrying them by hand.

If the description isn't too clear I'll try and upload a quick and dirty picture when I get home.

I thought about doing that, I have a 720 with two empty Chimera spots. I coudl cut the foam a bit and both my stands would fit, but it seems wrong to cut battlefoam.

Wrex I think I know what you mean but if you could post pictures I'd appreciate it.
