Precognisant: Lady Malys is always one step ahead of her enemies. After both sides have been deployed at the start of the game, the Dark Eldar player may redeploy D3 units in his army, including placing them in reserve.

My question is whether the reverse is possible, and bringing units you declared to be in reserve to the table as your redeployment. For example, you deploy some units, declare the remainder are in reserve, deepstriking, etc. Your opponent then deploys all their units, infiltrators, etc. Then, before the game starts, you redeploy some units that you declared were in reserve onto the board and then start the game.

If she only says "redeploy" and "place in reserve", no. There is a similar eldrad thread from a few days ago.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

No

Units placed in Reserve are done so INSTEAD OF deploying them. You cannot Redeploy something that was never deployed.
