It says specifically that when a squad casts hammerhand (or, to be more precise, "unit") that any ICs attached with benefit from this.

Does this mean that

A) the IC gains 1+str, and can then cast hammerhand for another 1+str

B) The IC gains 1+str, and can then cast hammerhand so everyone in the unit gains another 1+str

C) The IC has no reason to cast another hammerhand, as it benefits no one.

this one. every one includes him and the whole unit.

now whether multiple castings of hammerhand stack or not is still being debated.

If Hammerhand says the unit gains +1 Strength, then it modifies the profile, so the profile will look like this:

Before Hammerhand 1 S4

After Hammerhand 1 S 4 +1 = S5

Before Hammerhand 2 S5

After Hammerhand 2 S5 +1 = S6

But I am not sure of the exact wording of Hammerhand.

It modifies their profile, so the second casting (as psychic powers are NOT simultaneous by default) would modify the already exisitng modified strength

THe iC benefits the entire unit as it is cast *before* you resolve attacks, which is the ONLY point at which an IC is "treated as" a separate unit.
