Subject: I need some help with Psykers rules questions.

So.. I'm pretty unfamiliar with Psykers in general. So heres two or three questions that I need help with x__x I'm sure these are a "read the rulebook" things.. but I really have looked.
1) Was playing Against a gray knights player and later on against a Space Marine player who both fielded psykers (gray knights..duh and Spacemarines librarians)
Obviously I know how to use powers... but both armies were using psyker powers during my turn. These were NOT shooting powers.. just self buffs during the Assault phase. Can they do that? I don't mean nemesis force weapons.. I know they can do that. But the grayknights have a power that gives them S5 in assualt, can they use that during my assault phase?
2) Can hood of hellfire or other things that are similar (Eldar stones or whatever it is) that effects peoples perills of the warp rolls..effect the usage of force weapons or nemesis force weapons?
Thanks =)

None of a librarian's powers can be used in the opponent's turn.

Since it's in the same vein of questions as Endlesswrath's question I figured I'd post a question here instead of starting a new thread. (although I do wish that priority is given to his question as he is the OP) In the Eldar Codex it says under the Farseer entry that they may "Use two psychic powers per turn. A farseer cannot use the same psychic power twice in the same turn." This leads me to believe that with Eldrad's exception to this rule you could possibly have 3 fortunes etc. sorry for semi-thread jack (aw, it seems his question was answered. Now i suppose I'm just getting extra mileage out of a thread ha)

Librarians can use x number of powers per turn. "Turn" always means "player turn". However most powers are limited to the "psyker's turn" in a specific phase.
Codex Space Marines have zero powers that can be used outside of the librarian's own turn. Space Marine players was playing illegally (unless BA or SW as they have some powers that can be used in both player turns).
Grey Knights are perfectly fine using hammerhand in your turn. Grey Knight player was playing by the rules.

Plain and simple, GK can use psychic powers in the enemy turn. Not all of them, but most. Some can specifically ONLY be used in the enemy players turn.

In addition to activating NFWs, Hammerhand, Dark Excommuniaction, Sanctuary and Shrouding can be used during the enemies turn. The first three during assault, the last during shooting.
Note that Might of Titan cannot be used, even though it is very similar to Hammerhand.
Eldrad's staff alows the use of a third power, which may be one he already used this turn. This does not mean the second power may be a repeat.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

Its just that the wording in the codex states A farseer may not cast the same power twice (with spirit stones), excluding eldrad.

Any single farseer may not cast a power twice, either one is not restricted by the powers the other used.

Always remember Pg 9 of the BRB. Unless it specifically says "GAME" turn, all Codexes, Rules, FAQ, etc will refer to a "turn" meaning a "PLAYER turn".
Edit: Spelling
