Straight forward question guys. I had a squad of 6 guys. I wanted to shoot at a target with two plasma guns and no other weapons. Both plasma guns have clear LOS but the rest of the squad does not. Since I am opting to only fire models with clear LOS, do I confer a cover save to my target?

Cover is only determined by the firing models, and only if they have range and LoS. So they won't get a cover if both Plasma gunners have a clear shot, but will if only one of the gunners is obscured.

The majority of FIRING models in your squad must be able to see the majority of models in his squad. If not, he gets cover.

But if only the plasma guns are firing....

You are NOT obligated to shoot with all models in a unit, and since cover is only determined by the models firing - your models that are not firing (and out of sight) won't penalise you.
