Since the Dreadnaught is subject to infantry move rules does that mean it is also subject to the heavy weapon rule?
As in if I have a Melti and move in a turn I cant fire in the shoot phase

Walkers can move and fire all their weapons, regardless of how far they have moved.

And they can fire heavy weapons after moving because they have the Relentless rule, like all vehicles.

Not really. Vehicles are not Relentless, they just ignore the movement restrictions for Heavy and Rapid Fire Weapons. Slightly different, but not exactly the same.

Actually exactly the same, as the only vehicle allowed to assault, also may do so if the fired rapid fire or assault weapons. As long as there is nothing especially affecting units with the USR relentless, nos is right

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

They are both right; it is Functionally the same as relentless but not *Technically* relentless.
At any rate; what a model moves as holds no bearing on what it shoots as. Walkers have their own shooting rules that differ from infantry shooting rules. They may move like Infantry and are allowed to run like infantry, but they shoot like walkers.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

They aren't technically the same thing. At this point, they're functionally the same, but that can always change. It is an important distinction to remember, as the next codex may have a special character that removes USRs from your opponent.
