Starting a Dark Eldar Army, I am, and having a bit of trouble working out the details. I love me some skimmers, and I love me some nasty assault units, so I'm running a pseudo wych cult. I think I have a decent list here, but I figured I'd ask for opinions and maybe manage to get some of the experts commenting who have experience with these sorts of things.

Duke Sliscus
Baron Sathonyx

3 Trueborn - 3 Blasters - Raider
3 Trueborn - 3 Blasters - Raider
4 Trueborn - 4 Shardcarbines - Venom w/2 Splinter Cannons (Duke Goes Here)

10 Wyches - Hekatrix w/Agonizer - 2 Shardnets - Raider w/ Flickerfield
10 Wyches - Hekatrix w/Agonizer - 2 Shardnets - Raider w/ Flickerfield
11 Hellions
6 Hellions
6 Hellions

6 Reavers - 2 Heat Lances
6 Reavers - 2 Heat Lances

Ravager
Ravager

Fairly straightforward. Move up the field turn 1 using Dark Lances to stun/destroy enemy vehicles. Turn 2, unload assault units into disembarked infantry. Adapt to game flow from there. Duke's Hellion unit rides up behind Raiders getting a 3+ cover save before rampaging around stomping on infantry units. Hopefully Duke gets me a few free pain tokens start, if nothing else just getting the roll I want on each unit for the opponent I'm facing is good enough for me.

Overall I would say this is a pretty good start. However two things stand out :

1 - Take another Ravager. For a 2k pt list you don't have enough Dark Lances, and there is no guarantee you can get your Blaster's into range on turn 1.

2 - I would rethink Duke Sliscus. In my opinion he is really only useful if you use all of his abilities.
Wounding on 3+ is nice, but realize that only the Trueborn get it, not the Venom. 4 Shardcarbines is only 12 shots, 8 hit. Without Duke you get 4 wounds, with Duke 5 (technically 5.333 but rounded down)

He would be much more useful on a raider with 9 trueborn, 2 splinter cannons and 7 shardcarbines, with a splinter rack. On the move that is 29 shots (8 at range 36"), with splinter racks about 26 hits. 13 wounds without Duke, 17 to 18 with Duke
In this instance Duke gives you 4 or more extra wounds on average.

Of course the raider full of trueborn is a lot more expensive so you would have to drop reavers or hellions. I would drop the reavers.

Another thing to consider is that Duke is pretty decent in CC and has a weapon with 2+ to wound (if I remember correctly). He only has to deploy with the Trueborn to give them the bonus. This means that he can deploy with the trueborn dismounted and then turn 1 the trueborn mount their raider and fly away and Duke joins a Wych Squad (one of the squads would have to have 9 wyches) and flies away.

A few minor things that I would change :
Put flickerfields on all Raider's (unless the Trueborn with Blaster's are intended to be suicide squads)
Give one wych squad Haywire grenades

Please take note of the cost of one of those RJB squads.
Than compare it to the cost of a Ravager.
Than ask yourself what you want the RJBs to do for you in the course of the game and whether or not a Ravager could do it better or as well.
Than just take a Ravager and drop a RJB unit

If the Hellions are assault units than shouldn't they have tools to help them assault - like power weapons? Personally I think you'd do better with more Wyches and less Hellions as the Wyches' Raider provides you with more anti tank firepower and the Wyches themselves are pretty much superior in every way to the Hellions.

I'd also strongly advocate Flickerfields or Night Shelds on the Ravagers.

The biggest flaw I see in the list is that turn 1 you're only going to have 6-8 Dark lance shots at 2-4 enemy vehicles. Considering that Wyches can potentially assault turn 1, and certainly by turn 2, your big weakness is that you don't have enough long range anti-armor to ensure your assault units have optimal assault options.

I'd drop the 2 mini Hellion squads and the 2 RJB squads and use the extra points to help bring in some more long range firepower as well as amping up that big unit of Hellions, as if you're going to take it you might as well give it some tools to help maul MEQ.

Ha, Thor, I'm not quite sure how I didn't catch the RJB/Ravager switch. Would have been the first thing I caught if this was not my own list.

Well I certainly think the Hellions could use power weapons, It's basically a 25 point upgrade to grab the Agoniser... for only 4 attacks on the charge. With as large a squad as I have, especially with more bodies, putting out 30+ WS4 S4 I6 (Drugged Up) attacks should be enough... and if not it will be in round 2. Or I just maul, then Hit and Run away. Plus they've got the Duke for LD and grenade purposes.

So, here's list 2.0. Even I think it's leagues better.

Duke
Baron

3 Trueborn - 3 Blasters - Raider w/Flickerfield
3 Trueborn - 3 Blasters - Raider w/Flickerfield
4 Trueborn - 4 Shardcarbine - Venom w/2 Splinter Cannon (Duke)

10 Wyches - Hekatrix w/Agonizer - 2 Shardnets - Raider w/ Flickerfield
10 Wyches - Hekatrix w/Agonizer - 2 Shardnets - Raider w/ Flickerfield
15 Hellions (Baron)
5 Kabalite Warriors - Blaster - Venom w/ 2 Splinter Cannon

3 RJB - 1 Heat Lance
3 RJB - 1 Heat Lance

Ravager - Flickerfield
Ravager - Flickerfield
Ravager - Flickerfield

So, same gameplan as before, but now I have 3 potential suicide blaster units to DS if I so please (2 Trueborn, 1 Warrior) and the RJBs can now dart around and annoy tanks or assault Loota-esque units without drawing too much of the opponent's fire.

Oh, and the Hellions get 45 attacks on the charge. My maths tell me that's around 11 wounds caused without drugs on MEQ. This pleases me to no end.

As a thought, how about dropping the 4 Trueborn in the splinter unit and adding 2 splinter cannons. If I recall correctly, the Duke makes all splinter weapons wound on a 3+. With 4 carbines you have 12 shots at 18 inches. With 2 splinter cannons you have 12 shots at 36 inches (as long as you didn't move. Doubling your range will increase the longevity of the unit. Even if you have to move 8 shots is still not shabby and you still have the range bonus.

That's not a bad idea. I'm swapping 12 shots at 18" on the move for only 8 shots, but they're at 36". And if I sit still that's 12 as before... but now at 36". Hm. If only they were scoring. Should make for a nice infantry murderer, and I can always split the Duke off to shoot a vehicle or assault something if he needs to.
