So I have noticed a lot of people posting thunder wolf models from third party sources. While many of them look good I feel they lack the size a thunderwolf should be. Let's be honest, as much as people complain that Canis is overpriced the wolf should still be roughly the same size. Anyone have any links to some large wolf models that I could use.

I will mention that in some of the news and rumours threads, FW said that they aren't producing TWC as apparently Games Workshop will be and other hints that Games workshop would be producing TWC.

You can make some nice Thunder wolves from the Chaos Bloodcrushers and some green stuff. It's a project I'm still working on but I've been so busy with school I haven't been able to finish.

They don't come out as big as Canis' wolf, but they are pretty well sized, and some careful green stuffing can let you keep some of the more mechanical looking bits.

There shouldn't be any so all your Space Wolf players should decide not to use them!

Well there is mounting speculation they are on route. To the point that someone on Warseer has announced they will be with us at Gamesday.

I am a liittle sceptical but I suppose it doesn't hurt to have Dakka's rumour investigators or people in the know look in to this rumour also.

I for one hope it is true but then I would being a Space Wolves fan.

Until disproved the rumour section probably was the right place for this thread.

Assuming GW makes models they won't be out until September, according to the rumor mill. That being said I know that GW has failed to execute in producing models in the past. Also, there is not guarentee that the models will look as good as some of the third party sources, which many people of other armies have said before. I would like to trust GW and say that the cavalry will be just as impressive and intimidating as the Canis model but chances are they will not live up to expectations.

I suppose it would give a logical explanation why forgeworld aren't doing much SW's stuff for IA11?

With some luck seperately sold wolf models will be release, my army is nearly a full infantry army so im not thinking of adding alot of wolves or even centering on them, but it would be nice to have them in the army as shock troops.
