Hello all, I am curious about the objective markers in a tournament setting. Now, I know you need at least 5 for tournaments(to my knowledge). I have come up with an ingenious design for my ork objectives! I will be running a Meganobz/Ghazghskull list. The Obj markers will be named characters such as Boss Snikrot, Kapt Badrukk, an so on. Now the reasoning behind this is, being Ghazghskull, he is rallying the known orks worthy of a WAAAGH! So it makes total ork sense to make these as objectives. Also having the mini is sweet too! What do y'all think of this? Would it be allowed(of course they are not going to be played as characters) in a tournament? Automatically Appended Next Post: Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, as it is a modeling type of topic too. =D

I think its a cool idea, but you'll have to make it obvious to your opponent that your objectives as just that and are not models in play. I played a game once against an opponent who did the same thing and I made the mistake of assuming that a squad included a IC when it was in fact the objective. Obviously that was my own fault, but my opinion is that WYSIWYG applies to everything on the table.

or maybe just don't use models at all... make little signs with their names on them, like he's getting directions. using models that are not in play on the table can lead to too many accidents, then arguments, then ugliness...
