I think the GS work is a little thick for the Blade and Cape but otherwise looks like a cool conversion!
Maybe look into plasticard for the Blades and GS the runes or carve them into it...

Wicked sword, I would file the GS down a bit and give it a sharper look. Runes look great though, and the lightning idea is also pretty sweet!

So its not finished but heres the blade, crap pictures i know but hopfully you get the gist.
Also props to 'Catattafish' for the awesome lightning tutorial, makes the sword look alot better. and i swear it doesnt look as crap in person

It looks even better painted and the paint helps to make out details.
