Maybe its the quality of the photo, but the red looks rather flat, could do with some highlighting and maybe some weathering. otherwise it's a nice simple, clean piece

I like that metallic red but it feels like some of the details are a little left out. The screw on the back of the fist arm sticks out the most. The brass seems a little dull too and would look great with some hilights.
I do like the direction it's going I just feel like a little more attention to detail and hilighting can bring out it's best.

nice metallic red you've got there

id probably shade some of the areas with a green/brown mix just to get some definition in the panels but otherwise thats a really neat idea

Thanks guys, for both the praise and useful tips.

It looks a little less flat in person, but I was wondering how I could add some depth to it seeing as the highlights I did before the red vanished, so thanks for that tip Bakerofish.

For the brass I'm thinking a highlight of maybe shining gold, or perhaps buying some burnished gold for it, but it's actually the first time I've tried to make a bronze colour. Any suggestions there? It's currently a Tin Bitz base coat with thin layers of Dwarf Bronze over it, I was trying to add a little depth to it that way but I don't really notice it.
