Damn! I'm a sucker for pretty CAD drawings. I'll need to start saving some pennies! For your models and to get a computer that can run something better than sketchup.

Nice, i liked the old supports but i agree these are better for gameplay, in fact, they look better too. Good job.

I dropped you guys a message, it's low priority so i sent it via personal message on dak. I'll get in touch via email later in the year.

Oh man, so i've been thinking about your clear resin bases again. Is their a definitive response from GW staff as to whether they can be used in store? If GW welcome it then i may reconsider buying the set i inquired about. Hmm...

Thanks Ovion. Well, looks like i'll be making an order very soon. I'll email you guys.

How could they not? Seriously though, that's good to hear.

Are there plans for larger structures to compliment the pods?

I second 90% of that comment. Also, proposed prices? Larger buildings?

Love it. The only thing is i'd be making/buying my own steps/stairs. I'd rather go with scale than functionality, but thats just me.

Oh! So reasonably priced! So amazing! <scrapes through pennies> No moneys!

My order is getting larger by the day, although its also going to take longer to save for it!

Hmmm, was having a think over the last couple of days. Is it possible you guys would consider making a large building/pod and a small shuttle that can carry a pod.
I have some ideas myself. I don't know what program you are using(i can only run Google Sketchup on my PC) but if you have files suitable for that format could you send me a pod file so i can play about with shuttle ideas. At least that way i can plan a scratch build if you guys aren't going to make one.

More like Thunderbird Two but i've got something in mind that fits the pod style better i think.
I don't think i'm very good but if you guys like the overall idea i'd be happy to sign it over or something if that needs to be done.

Is it just me or does it say Warmill posted the last message although the message isn't here? Thread broken?

Edit: My message fixed it.

Sounds like you guys got a well deserved rest, keep up the good work!

Truffle wrote:Love these buildings they are very aliens styled. Went to have a look at ordering some and crapped my pants when I saw the price.

I hope you mean because it's so reasonably priced. I'm still in awe over how much bang you get for your buck with War Mill.

For just £15 these guys offer a 55 part, 154mm x 100mm x 73mm, beautifully designed building with an interior. What more could a hobbyist want?

That actually something i've approached the guys about already. I'm wanting to have that sort of design for the 500 points of marines i bought. Haven't built them yet though so haven't placed an order obviously but it's something i think is going to look really good on the table. I was going to go with clear bases and paint/ink in the details or get them done in red and paint the 'non details' black. Haven't decided yet.

WarMill wrote:Once Salute's out the way, new projects include:
- new themed PUP buildings to expand the range. First up will be a Noodle Bar, cos everyone loves noodles in the future
- Ed's modular low-level and elevated roads as seen above, these are pretty much ready to go and just need detailing applied. We're going to try and get some done for the Salute board if possible, as they're very big and cool!
- a modular facility set, that can be customised with themed modules to be a research lab, weapons factory, prison, power plant, etc etc and would be perfect for interior battles. It'll also be compatible with the PUP walkways
- scatter terrain as seen above, alien-themed relics etc
- finish that stupid Valkyrie conversion set! It's been a project since before Warmill, but got put on hold when I managed to screw up updating the software for my CNC
- a great big hammer that could be good for dreadknight conversions. The master's been machined, we just need to clean up a cast for re-moulding.
- lots more as time allows!

Oh yeh, i'm building up a scary list myself. Not to mention the two or three base commissions i have in mind. Ed and Harry, your going to bleed me dry!

I just realised i missed out an important part of the quote:

I've added it in now.

Kroot, we should try and come up with some sort of design together since we are both looking do do something similar. Then we could just commission them as we need to, cost are the same as ordering the 'stock' versions if you do the design yourself(correct me if i'm wrong guys).
