Well, i expressed to my Dark Eldar playing friend that i was interested in picking up DE as a second army. He has offered to sell me his DE army for about 100 pounds, its all 3rd ed models, painted and assembled, and They arent in the best condition ever (they are good condition, but the talos has no base, some of the hellions need to be reglued, and some other problems like that).


Its about between 1500-2000 pts worth of models.


Is this a decent deal?

Im working on Chaos space marine at the moment, and only have about 500 points of it.

Hard to say as value is in the eyes of the beholder.

If you like the look of 3rd edition models , then sure the worth goes up.

If you like how they are painted and assembled , then up again.

If you feel like fixing them up arnt much of a hassle , up some more.

Now point wise vs $ value , cant give accurate answer without knowing the content :'P

Now if the part i wrote in bold letters arnt exactly satisfactory , then i would say personally i find it to be a rip off.

For previous condition items i would only pay 50% of retail price.
If they need repaint / reglue and repairs , it would even go lower.... to i guess 35% at most.

I don't like the old models, and neither do a lot of other people. If you don't mind them, then I say go for them.
