My interest in 40K rekindled recently, when I learnt that my FLGS would start selling and playing Warhammer. Earlier this month, I was informed of a City of Death game day on Free Comic Day. I decided to start this blog and record my progress throughout the month and hopefully complete my goal of painting a 1250 pt army for the event. I'm still learning to play and paint, so C&C is always welcome and appreciated :3

Fist molds!

Working on converting BA Death Company to Sternguard.

Filed off the blood drop and replaced it with a green fist. I'm trying to make a smaller fist mold, as the other is kinda large. The hanging blood drops are going to be replaced and GS'd with purity seals.


Filed down the vial and replaced it with a GS as well. Same deal as with body, replacing blood drop with a purity seal and GS.



I'll either be sanding down the current fist or remaking the mold to have a more secure fit.

Started working on Blood Angels along with my Crimson Fists. I recently purchased a PS900 airbrush and this was my first attempt at using it. This was just a trial attempt and nowhere near finished. I think the next step I'll take is a second coat of Blood Red followed by a wash or two of Baal Red.





There's some overspray on the legs, but I think the rest came out all right.
