Alright, I managed to score a free Dreadknight model(shadiest dude ever got one for me), and started working on it.

I can't stand the exposed legs, so I plasticarded it up and added under-soles to it to fill in the gap at the bottom. Pictures do not do this justice at all.

For the front, I couldn't stand the pilot being so exposed, or not even having a targeting screen/blastshield; so I made one myself. The picture blurs it all together with the flash, but it is in fact a two piece layer of plasticard(will be painted glossy black) with plasticard rods around the edges and a bar over the middle(to divide the glass) to create a canopy. This will be painted black to be reflective glass, while the rods will be painted in steel.

The legs of the Dreadknight pilot had to be cropped and realigned since the regular style just has him standing there with a "Durr" pose. Same can be said about the arms and legs of the Dreadknight itself, as I had to bend and pull at pieces or fill gaps with greenstuff. Hopefully he now looks ab it more dynamic. Even if just a little.

Oh, and before I forget, I'm filing down and blurring the words on the model itself, to bring it in line with the older models with barely decipherable text, and not this "MORTIS, TITAN, AEGIS, GLORY" garbage that has become so popular with the Grey Knight lineup of models. <_<

Also, didn't add the "Titan" codpiece/diaper. Thank God. <_<

Anything else I should work on or change?

-Matt

i don't understand why there is so much hate for the dreadknight. it looks freaking awesome! and with a little effort, could be put in some epic poses

I don't get how the cat flap over the Termi's head makes it less silly. The leg covers, yes. But THAT?!?

The piece infropnt of the termy's head would have been better in clear plastic, Heck even a blisterpack cut to the right shape would have done...

the arms look better and the armour over the legs I just don't get actualy, I thought the whole idea of having him hanging there was so his movements could be replicated by the great big hulking machine he's sitting infront of.... so enclosing his tiny feet would mean his big feet couldn't move.

I hate this model too It's wierd looking, ungainly and silly what's the point of having a man in an exoskeleton riding a mahoosive exoskeleton? It would have looked better if infact they'd takes the space marine and stripped his armour offa him and given us a clear cocpit capsule with nural plugs and a hanging man puppet thing. also you can't really repose the model unless you repose the grey knight riding it or it just starts to look wrong.

The changes to the arms that you have made don't appear to have been drastic enough to make the model look off but it is still ever so slightly disconcerting to the eye In my opinion feel free to disagree.
