So I've been a long time Warhammer 40k Player and I have been looking to get into fantasy, I have played a lot of Mordheim as Middenheimers. Now the play style I like to play is a very straight forward Crushing Hammer with some ranged units, its the way I played my Middenheimers. So can you guys give me any suggestions on what army might be a good choice for me? Automatically Appended Next Post: Not a single suggestion at all?

There are many armies that can fit that play style.
Could you list the armies you have some interest in? Your post is too generic to get into specifics.

Well I guess I can say I am not a huge fan of "evil" armies such as Chaos Daemons and WoC. I thought I would like Ogres but their army is way to small for me even if they have 3 wounds each.
I can say that I am not a fan of Lizardmen at all, Idk why I just don't like the way Lizardmen look.

The only armies that aren't "evil" are: Brets, Dwarfs, High Elves, Empire, Wood elves (you eliminated Lizards).

And from those, I suppose wood elves isn't really a "crushing hammer", but all the others can be straight forward with ranged support. I guess brets or high elves are your best bet for that; both empire and dwarfs have good fire support but dwarfs CC units are slow, and the empires are not really crushing (even though they do have quite good CC)

Dwarfs are much faster than they use to be.
However overall I agree, Brets and High Elves will be more likely to come meet you in the middle or on your end of the table (in my experience at least). While Dwarfs and Empire will spend a turn or two using their warmachienes to blast away before sending in the melee troops to finish off the leftovers. This is not saying that they can't. I've seen some very aggressive empire armies usually based around a solid block of calvary with big troop blocks to back it up.

If you want more crushing than shooting, go for the Brettonians. Your army will only be a few columns of Knights and depend entirely on you getting the charge, but by God, moving those lances of heavy cavalry into combat is soooo satisfying. And the tactics are dead simple too. Charge. Chaaaaarge.
For balance, High Elves. Their shooting (including magic missiles and whatever) is pretty good, but 8th has boosted their combat capabilities to the point you get re-rolls to hit against anyone with an Initiative equal or less than yours (i.e. like 75% of units). And swordmasters will hit first with their weapon skill 5 strength 5 attacks, and you have a host of special characters. That said, few things are as fun as the Green Knight, but ... meh.
As a Dark Elf player, I hate them both. Brettonians are a good source of slaves and High Elves are thieves, to me.
If you're still insistent on non-evil, include the Tomb Kings in your calculations. They are purely neutral, every prince being an individual as much as any human is an individual, and so they also have their good, their bad and their ugly.
