I'm fumbling through the book trying figure out whether or not to ge a techmarine. I thought all their guys can DS but I can't even find the rule for GKSS. Can someone point me to the right page for this rule? And a quick answer on whether the techie can or not would be awesome. Cheers!

Anything in Termie armour can, and the Interceptor / DK with teleporters can, as they are Jump infantry.

I cannot find any rule stating ALL GK can deepstrike.

Page 28 for whether Strike Squads can or not (they can), also page 91 confirms it in the special rules list (second from bottom).

Techmarines cannot.

Some GK have the Deep Strike special rule, allowing them to Deep Strike regardless of mission restrictions, others may do so by virtue of wearing terminator armour.

Several units may not deep strike, including (but not exclusively) Purgation and Purifier squads.

In fairness, the codex is pretty clear about who can and who can't. There is a slight illusion of ambiguity created by lumping Strike and Interceptor squads together on page 23, and you have to remember that terminator armour allows Deep Strike for Terminators and Paladins and characters so equipped.

Dreadknights without Personal Teleporters can also Deep Strike, as it's part of their Dreadknight Armour rule.

Thank you very much for clearing this up for me. It makes a huge difference in the kind of army I want to build. Maybe I'll get a Techmarine some day anyway because they look awesome but my initial force I want dropping in and shooting the pants off dudes. Thanks fellas!
