Greetings to those who bothered to click on this.

I have recently been employed (yay for money!) and have bought a whole bunch of Warhammer to expand my Angels Encarmine (Blood Angels) chapter.
I've spent almost AUD$423 in the last two weeks. But now I have a problem, I need to get this army built and painted for war.

So, time for some pics!


That's Assualt on Black Reach, 2 Razorbacks, Vindactor, 2 Sanguinary Gaurd squads, Death Company, Grey Knight Terminator Squad and a Grey Knight squad.

At this point in time, I'm trying to get this army ready for a battle on the Easter long weekend.
The painting at the moment is still a bit rough, the details (weathering, decals, etc.) will come at a later date.

I tend to stock up as it where. Currently I have 2/3 my force just baught base coated waiting for more work.

Yeah, I know how that feels. What I have currently table-top worthy (pics will follow later of what I have painted) sat there with only a base coat for 6 months.
I think my goal of having all this painted before the Easter Long Weekend might be a bit unrealistic!

So hello again to anyone who bothers to read this.
After surviving yet another week at work, I can now show you my vain attempts at some Blood Angel HQ units.

So to start the slideshow, Brother Corbulo

I'm still not happy with the pose and I still have to make the goblet in his hand.
Held together by Blu-Tac so I can paint each piece separately.


A simple repose of a Sanguine Guard makes a cool looking Commander Dante.
Again, held together by Blu-Tac for ease of painting.


The only model I have bothered to actually put effort into the base.
I guess it could be Lemartes or maybe some kind of 'Fallen Angel'?


So this is my first attempt at Greenstuffing, it's going to be a Librarian in Terminator Armour when I get the skills to make som icons up to put on it.

And last, but not least....


What is it? I dunno either.
I thought it would be fun to put a Jump Pack on a Grey Knight Terminator. Why? Because it looks cool.

Though the photo of my Land Raider has appeared to have been tainted by some Chaos spawn. Oh well, pic of that at next update.

White is such a to paint, though I'm happy with the final result.
Angels Encarmine has white Death Company and white Sanguinary Guard...fun.

So here is the Sanguinary Guard Squad, only undercoated.

So much white amour to paint. Why did I choose Angels Encarmine?


Now for some Transports. I shall get a group shot of my Rhinos/Razorbacks, Vindicator, Land Raider and Stormraven up soon.



I really love the way the wing turned out. It's a mixture of red and black mixed.

And to finish this image dump off, a Librarian kit bash made from the Grey Knight kits with Blood Angels shoulder pads.
