I finished making one of the trucks you posted. Thanks so much for posting instructions and templates (though it was a bit hard to translate the pdf file into something that the laser cutter would read, so I had to trace it over with corel draw). I'll email a picture soon to go in the gallery.

Adding that Corel file for laser cutters would be oh-so-helpful!

I think I still have it. If you want, I can try and post it. (You'd have to tell me how. If I have to upload it somewhere or whatever.)

Edit: I do have it. Someone should tell me how to post it on the internet.

You, good sir, are a scholar and a gentleman.

I don't have corel myself, so I can't check it. Also, since I was printing on 6" by 12" sheets of plasticard, some of the bits from the first page are on the second page so that they would fit. Also, be careful to line it up properly, and the small vision slits are prone to warp as they are such small pieces, but they can be put back into shape using a bit of hot water.

Thanks once again.

Hi guys

Sorry for such a lengthy absence. No new Blood Pact just yet.

I have, however, put up a poll on my blog to determine which Blood Pact project will get my attention next. Please head on over (link in my signature) and vote!

Cheers

Hi guys

No new work just yet, but the poll is rapidly drawing to a close and it looks like the Rapid Assault Force will be the clear winner. I'll be getting started on this project next week.

On another note, I've just had my first Bell of Lost Souls article posted. I'll be reposting it on my blog towards the end of the month. It's about how I paint the Chaos stars on the sides of my vehicles:

Check it out here If you're interested.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

What an excellent tutorial, I would of never thought of using a round base as a guide.

I think I will try this when I get around to it.

Thanks guys!

@Empchild - the armor on my regular troopers is drybrushed with Tin Bitz, followed by a drybrush of Boltgun Metal, then a patchy wash of Thraka Green, a patchy wash of Leviathan Purple, followed by a wash of Devlan Mud, then Badab Black. All of that is finished off with an edging of Mithril Silver. Hope that helps.

Cheers

Back in the UK and hating it

Wow, lots of amazing stuff here Dave, excellent work. It's really nice to see these familiar names as it was Dan Abnett's books that got me back into WH40K after a 15 year break. Any plans to do the Vervunhive forces?

Hi guys

Following the holidays I've been able to get back into my Blood Pact. Huzzah! The readers of my blog voted for the Rapid Assault Force to be my next project. So, that's what I'm working on now.

First up, the Chaos Hellblade

And side by side with the Locust, a vector-fighter that Thomas Wynn and I are designing and building using the fins from Space Marine Drop Pods

And a shot of the Locust WIP by itself

I hope you all like them, more shots on my blog.

Cheers
Dave

Great stuff, DT. That spacecraft is going to look spectacular when finished, I am faithful. On a side note: I much enjoyed your article on BOLS. If I had a traitor army, that would be really useful! Maybe I should convert!

Wow, that Hydra Truck is hot stuff. Yeah, the barrels are a little short, but frankly, I think it works with the overall look of the vehicle. Great use of West Wind heads, too.
