I always thought a lot of votes go against the "army and its representative" and because of that some of them seem to attract a lot of dedicated
attacks when their codex is new and shiny , but those left out with old codices / lists have a good chance to be missed and sneak up to the top, sometimes. Was willing to bet without the whole "vulcan" list design we got from GW's love for SC , a less known Primarch would have a better chance in such threads. Vulcan may had a " i hate vulcan lists and so anyone named vulcan has to walk the plank" problem..maybe?

What could be said against Vulcan? That he wasn't in the spotlight? Not nice enough to kittens? To dirty from working in a forge? I don't see anything to dislike Vulcan. To ignore him, sure. To prefer another Primarch, fine.

I think Vulkan was pretty cool, and I don't see any reason why you would dislike him.

Who? He would OWN Perturabo, Magnus, Guilliman, Corax, Angron, and Fulgrim. He would still kill the others but he would flatten those ones.

No. Russ and his legion destroyed the 2 removed legions.

Dorn could not beat Angron. The only people who could beat him at fisticuffs are stated to be Sanguinius and Horus.

And even then it was purely because they had skill and finesse while he just pounded the feth outta stuff till it stopped moving.

Yeah Angron is a beast at combat even amongst the primarchs.

Dorn could be beaten by Horus, Sanguinius, Angron, The Lion, Russ at the minimum in my opinion

True but we are talking about one on one in a vacuum in that scenario donr can't beat any of those five he was a sige master not a close combat monster.

Yeah, he was average in those categories, but a beast at defence and tactics, sorta like a cooler Guilliman

Angron went into a frenzy true, but he was no idiot. He organised a massive slave rebellion and was only about to be beaten because of insanely overwhelming numbers.

Also also, whatever else you can say about him, Fulgrim was a damn skilled fighter even on the brink of insanity. He would be a match for Dorn.

Except Kurze was fully armoured and struck without warning, and Dorn was still in his dressing gown (or robes) and wasn't expecting it.
