so i played a BA opponent yesterday, and his priest was making 4 attacks on the assault.

He said because his base attacks is 2 and he had 2 cc weapons on him = 3 attacks. i thought that when a model comes stock with two cc weapons the stat base always says 2, or am i wrong about this

You are wrong. The base stat is just the base stat. Having 2 CCW or 1 Pistol and 1 CCW grants +1A.

But only ever 1 extra.

He was right.

The stat line has no bearing on the models equipment.

so if you have 2 attacks in the profile, 2 CCW's and you charge you get 4 attacks.

they do not add the bonus attack for having 2 CCW's into the profile (unless the number of attacks are 2(3) like the furioso dreadnought)

Occasionally a model will have wargear which is included in the stat but this will be stated explicitly in the wargear's description - e.g. Yarrick's bale-eye.
