I apologize if this is obvious, but here we go anyway.  Are you eligible to use Feel No Pain if your character doesn't get an armor save from a non-power weapon source.  An example would be a plasma rifle firing at a demon prince.  The AP goes through the armor, but does the ruling under the power entitle him to potentially shrug it off?  Thanks!

Against a shooting attacks, yes, you´ll get it. It need to be Insta-Killing to deny your Feel No Pain "save" in that case (shooting attacks).

Dont' confuse AP and Power weapons. They are not the same.

Insta kills is the thing to look at for shooting.
Insta Kills and power weapons for Hand to Hand. (I dont' think you can take a insta kill hit in HTH without it being a power weapon though.)

I know the rules. Do you?

A model can be insta-killed in close combat if a save is failed. Note that Ork dreadnaughts are very dangerous now that their strength is listed as S510) in the new Codex Wargear, as they can insta-kill anything.

they can instakill anything, but they strike after daemon princes, so they'll never get to swing

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.
