I have 170 pts left on a 2500 pt list. I'm stuck between 3 choices.

Librarian 170pts
QuickSilver
Warp Rift
Falchions

or

Purgation Squad 165pts
3 Psy Cannons
Master Crafted Psy Cannon for Justicar
2 Incinerators

or

Vindicare Assassin 145pts

Librarian... but I'd give him 4 powers at 170 pts. Say Warp Rift, Quicksilver, Sanctuary, Shrouding - so he has an anti-vehiclke power, an assault power an anti-assault power and a cover save power.

its basically mordrak with 5 ghost knights 30 termies [ 3 squads of 10] 2 lrs and thats it

Yeah it really does depend on the rest of the list but I'd lean toward either the Libby or Vindicare.

My Librarians will always be taking Sanctuary and Shrouding as you can always cast these powers and it basically doubles how many powers you can cast in the game. Note that the BRB states you can cast all of your powers in each "player turn." So I will be taking these, Quicksilver and Might of Titan.

The Vindicare is cool but I think he's pretty likely to eat a single missile and be forgotten. I'm going to field one but mostly because snipers are awesome. If I want a reliable addition to my force, I'll take a Librarian.

As long as the first 2,300 points were spent in a competent way the answer is a clear "Buy force multiplier", especially if the first HQ is to unlock units rather than force multiply (like Crowe)

I think that the vindiacare will be a thorne in anyone's side, so i went with him.

Personally I'd say Vindicare or Purgation, both units I happen to like.

Oh, so we need to know what his other HQ is, and what units is in the list to work with whatever choice is made. It's almost as if someone's pointed this out before...
