This is my take on the Raptors chapter. Please bear with the crappy pics, the closest thing to a camera i have is on my phone and i'd rather use the money i have on other stuff, like more marines. Also the lighting doesn't seem to do these guys justice. I painted these before the IA came out so I was just winging it. The officers have bone helmets, these don't belong to a particular company. Please don't be too harsh, i'm shooting for tabletop quality. My freehand is awful, I intend to cover most of it up with some purity seals or damage.

I haven't picked a name for him yet, if anyone has any suggestions that would be appreciated. Also these pics are old, his helmet is also now bone colored.

I added the scouts to the base because i wanted to have scouts in my army without having scouts. Also the base seemed pretty bland without them. I had to paint over the clear glass because of an incident with my sister and some fingerpaints

There are much more models, but I don't have the time to take pictures of them. Like all of the others, i'll add them if requested, also you can see them in the army shot.

Notice the pre-made bases, i accidentally went overboard and made a bunch, fortunately it'll make the next building process much quicker.

Seriously though, I like the overall look of the army. The base colors are very nice, but I would like to see a little more of the detail picked out. Your technique allows you to see the details easily, but since it's all mostly the same color it all blends together. Painting the stripes on the dreadnought would be a good idea, since it is such a large eye-catching model.

Speakign of which, I really like the dread! Probably my favorite thing I've seen.

I love the Dr. pepper billboard, I dislike the marine helmets on the scout. But overall I LOVE that color scheme. Its very gritty and looks good especially on the dread. Although I would maybe suggest something brighter as a small contrast, even if it was in a few little spots.

For those wondering the scheme is gretching green with a heavy wash of gryphonne sepia, then drybrush with kommando khaki, then a drybrushing of bleached bone.

I may steal that to do a sqaud for myself...

that pic looks surprisingly funny especially because of the chaplain peeking over the dr pepper bill board to see the ork

Nah I just made it just to spite my friend who hates Dr. Pepper . Plus it's an interesting piece of terrain that gives a save to anything taller than a dreadnought, but not infantry (they never mentioned which half has to be covered to get a save )

For those wondering about the billboard it is made up of it's relatively simple. The base is made up of the base of the lascannon that goes on top of the bastion kit (this is entirely optional if you like to base your terrain, I don't, but others do). The supports are from the sanctum imperialis. The billboard itself is actually the remains of a button i got from the Chicago first robotics competition, but you can probably use cardboard or your choice of material. i also added that antenna thing that also comes with the bastion kit, this is also optional, but i added it because the back looks pretty barren and i thought the idea of a billboard serving another purpose other than advertising interesting.
