That's quite an epic conversion, good job . The only thing I'd change is that the front metal work all blends together a bit. Perhaps run around the edge of each area with a metallic colour to represent some paint chipping?

Thanks for the reply.

I was thinking about adding a little gore to the front and break up the metal work that way, but am still experimenting on ways to make it look good.

Have you thought about using a warboss from Black Reach in place of the warbiker? His body looks really small.

Thanks for the reply.

I did, but Wazzdakka is a mek and not a warboss. He is supposed to be smaller than a boss according to the fluff. I also think that it is reflected in his stats, S4 not S5 base.

I will most likely be making another one that will be a warboss to cruise with my FW warboss.

I actually think the pictures don't do it justice, because the model looked more impressive in person.

Did you get the base separate from the warboss kit, or just had the kit and used the base for Wazdakka? And how big is the FW base?

I'm working on my Waz and Warboss (finally got my ork army together) and am trying to decide how I'm going to base them. They are both bigger than a bike base, but the trygon oval feels excessive (although about the right size for my Waz).

If you're going to be at the 2500 on Sat, maybe I'll bring them with me.

Thanks pretre.

I originally bought a FW warboss from a dude online, and it was not put together very well, and it was a pain to strip off the paint. I also accidentally broke him when I was trying to clean off all the paint. I ended up using that base for Wazzdakka, and I bought a friend's FW warboss.

I will most likely be there at the tourney. I will see you there.

That's fine but did you at least you the nob biker bitz? From these pics it looks like it is made from a biker boy. It may be the big helmet though...actually I think that is the bit that needs to go. It looks like it was made for a warboss. There is a nob head that looks exactly like wazdakka, but I am not sure what sprue it is on.

It is made from the biker nob. The picture is not flattering to the model as well. The helmet is a bit out of scale, but it is not a head, it is the Black Orc banner. I was actually trying to emulate the leader from the Michael Crichton book, Eaters of the Dead where the leader wore the horns of power.

Also, remember, the bike is supposed to be the Bike of the Aporkaylypse, and is enormous.

It does look good, but I have to agree, the Ork looks way to small on there. Im talking its lost in the giantness that is the bike. I used the AOBR boss for a biker boss/gutsmek base to build on. Sure stat wise he should be smaller, but his conversions always get huge. Its more of a look issue then a fluff one. You should go with a larger mini (like the AOBR boss) simply because itll even the rest of the mini out.

But other then that, Ive got to say, its one hell of a conversion, nice work
