So the recent tomb kings thread in news and rumors has the "pics on page 9" in the title, which got me thinking.

There is no easy way to skip to page 9, you can click on the thread and skip to page three but then you have to manually cycle through 6 more pages to get to the desired pictures.

This isn't the only thread with this problem. There was another thread in news and rumors that was 40ish some pages long but had "pics on page 23"in the title. So anyone who had never read the tread before would have to start from either the back end (at page 40 something) or the front (page 1) and spend several minutes slogging through pages that they have no interest in reading before they can view the desired pictures. Personally, having to buffer 20 some pages on a slow connection just so I can move ahead one page at a time is quite rage inducing.

So my point is...

Is there a way to skip quickly to any desired page that I have not noticed?

Could one be introduced?

Even the ability to skip ahead in a thread in 5 page chunks would be welcome.

There is a feature for it. Next to the set of page number sis a button that says "go". Click it, and then punch in the page number you want to go to.
