Hey guys,

Long story short, I'm starting to learn Mordheim, using my ogres with the experimental ogre war band. Within said war band rules, the "young blood" equivalent heroes are ogre runts... apparently very young ogres, who haven't reached a size large enough to qualify as a large target.

I am having a helluva time finding a proper model, or a decent combination of bits, to represent these guys. Hell, I can't even find images of the models that people who play this war band use to represent them! I would just greenstuff a smaller body and stick ogre bits onto it, but I'm worried they'll come out looking more like an ogre midget than an ogre child.

Do you guys have any ideas, or know where I can get some inspiration?

The Mordheim Ogre is slightly smaller, it'd be an option. Another one would be track down the older GW Ogres, either Blood Bowl or the older Citadel ones.

These guys are quite small next to the modern GW Ogres, but still seem to stand in nicely as figures of a similar style.

Some examples..

Skragg himself would probably not be the sort of fig you'd want due to the armour, but other Ogres from his range would be perfect.
