Looks good, now come paint my confrontation minis

One point of criticism: the transition on the tip of the sword could be made smoother. The three colors used are visibly distinct, particularly evident in the upper right photo.

Few tweaks; nicer photos:

The armour is charadon granite, black wash, blend up through codex grey to fortress/grey/white. Sharp white highlights. Sepia glaze. Glaze with enchanted blue to give it a bit of a tinge down in the shadows. Glaze black to up contrast. Retouch highlights where needed.

The sword is pretty simple, black through shadow grey to spacewolf grey, with enchanted blue glazes. Sharp white and offwhite highlights.

Love it, man. That is one of my all-time favorite GW miniatures - you do it beautiful justice!

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Great job, the painting looks really nice and the NMM looks really good.I like your idea for the base, looks really good, where did you get all those little extra like the bucket etc from?

I can't help thinking about why he is standing there though, I am guessing it is the inside of a building but he pose looks a little bit strange for his position almost as though he is posing for a photograph.

I'm going for a 'mercenary hanging out in an alley' kind of vibe.

Atenociti's workshop do a nice range of resin accessories. The little grey sack is from a 1/48 Tamiya tank stowage set.

Edit: The windows are cut out; really hard to photograph, and when you can rotate the piece in your hand things are clearer, but I think these illustrate the idea that you can see the back of the mini:

Bits added to the base... one last thing to go on and he's done (other than glossing the plinth):
